Dimension: Immersion - Theme: El Negro Portalea

In this class, we had a closer look at El Negro Portalea and his beautiful, smooth dancing style. His nickname could definitely have been the king of cadencia. We particularly liked how he mixes back crosses and back ochos.

Dimension: Immersion - Theme: Steps from the Great Maestros

This is a special 2-hour workshop on Great Maestro steps. We focused on dancers from the Golden Age of tango and saw a couple of classic steps, whilst looking at each dancer style and musicality

Special milonga workshop

This is a special workshop taught with Juan Martin and Stefania on milonga. In the beginner class, we started with the box and the baldosa. In the intermediate class, Juan Martin & Stefania went deeper into milonga musicality.

Special giro workshop

This is a special workshop taught with Juan Martin and Stefania. In the beginner / improver class, we worked on a simple giro sequence to get the basics right. In the intermediate / advanced class, Juan Martin & Stefania looked into giros with enrosque and lapiz.

Dimension: Immersion - Theme: Osvaldo & Coca / Carlos & Rosa Perez

This is a special workshop taught together with Juan Martin and Stefania. In the beginner class, we saw a simple sequence inspired by Osvaldo and Coca. Osvaldo is known as honeyfeet for his delicate footwork. Juan Martin & Stefania taught a giro sequence by Carlos & Rosa Perez.

Dimension: Speed - Theme: Asynchronicity II

To end our term, we studied a couple of asynchronous steps, which also happen to be inspired by Osvaldo and Coca, 2 amazing dancers from the Golden Age of Tango and had a look at some of their signature moves. Very playful and musical.
