Making tango diamonds shine brighter
A gentleman or lady wanting to learn tango in Buenos Aires during the Golden Age (1935-55) would have had a very different experience from ours. No dropping by a dance studio on the way back home for a cheeky tango class!
04/08 Juan Martin & Stefania WELCOME Milonga with Show
04/08: We are delighted to welcome Juan Martin Carrara and Stefania Colina, London's favourite maestros, back to the UK: WELCOME MILONGA! They will run the Int/Adv workshop and later in the afternoon, will perform a FULL SHOW for our greatest pleasure. DJ Juan Martin mano a mano with DJ Bruno!

The Argentines often use the word "entregar" when talking about the skill of following, which means "to give in" or "to surrender" to the lead. In my mind, it only is possible when followers close their eyes (and gentlemen) keep their gaze unfocused.
