  • EACH LESSON CONSISTS OF TWO PARTS AND COVERS ALL LEVELS: the first half is a simple introduction of the concept for recent beginners & “improvers”, whilst the second half is more challenging, for intermediates and advanced dancers. The Workout videos are one part only (solo dancers, 45 min) whilst the Solo technique videos have two parts, one focusing on Leaders and one on Followers (solo dancers, 90 min).
  • All online classes can be taken independently from one another.
  • You can study on your own or with a partner.

  • 29/07 Amazing Americana variations: The Americana might sound like a coffee variant, but it is one of the most versatile positions in tango, the entry to a multitude of steps and creative combinations. Add the Americana to your repertoire, it will become a close ally beautifying your tango. This is part I of II (next part, this coming Wednesday) but the two can be taken independently.
  • 29/08 Open or Close? Many tango embraces Part II, 90 min. Open or close? Learn the tricks and tips to make your embrace alive and a true part of your tango. When do you need to open, when can you keep it close by creating space inside the embrace, the role of the hips, the shape of the frame, and how to communicate a sudden change of shape. A truly useful session to understand the components of the embrace and how to use the right tool at the right time. This is the last part of this series but each part can be viewed independently.     SOLO TECHNIQUE: two elements in tango are used constantly: sanguchitos and crosses. They both have their own technique, and when coupled with precision, can be some of the most satisfying and elegant combinations in tango. Come join us to learn how to make them part of your strongest steps, from tips on balance to timing, lead and even decorating them. No partner required.

  • 30/05 Fabulous PLANEOS and their adornos for both roles, Part II, 90 min. Fabulous PLANEOS! Planeos are these gravity defying moments when the follower (or the leader, in more complex combinations) stand and rotate on one leg for a prolonged time, often decorating with elaborate adornos. Perfect choices for soft and melancholic songs, they are a true gem. Come join us to master them (for both roles) and understand when and how to use them!   • 30/06 The 3 AXIS in Tango: fine tune your communication in embrace, Part I, 90 min. We may often refer to ‘the axis’ in Tango, but truth is, things are a little more subtle than that. Learn about the 3 axis in tango, and how to use them, to use the complete range of tools for a more precise communication in your dancing. Sometimes, less is more, but also less is finer, more accurate, for unambiguous and definite transmission of lead and response to lead.
