Dimension: Interactions- Theme: Paradas & pasadas II

We continued on last week's theme with a pasada from the corte, which we then continued with a lateral cross or a back cross sandwich.

Dimension: Interactions- Theme: Paradas & pasadas I

Paradas and pasadas are steps where the follower (in general), is interrupted in her movement by the leader and needs to step around or step over the leader's leg. We started with the simple parada from forward ocho and explored more adventurous out-of-axis options.

Dimension: Interactions- Theme: Sacadas II

In this class, we saw a couple of more adventurous sacadas, including a sacada producing a high boleo and a sacada from the follower - really cute, it's one of favourite sacadas!

Dimension: Interactions- Theme: Sacadas I

Sacadas are very traditional tango steps where one of the dancers steps in between the feet of the other. We started with the simplest sacada from a forward ocho, before discovering two "linear" sacadas, e.g. sacadas produced when both dancers are walking in a straight line.

Dimension: Interactions- Theme: Arrastres II

This is our second class on arrastre in which we saw a variation of the arrastre in line from last week and added a sweep from the follower. We also did a challenging but very musical arrastre into the cross.
