About Dario & Rocio

Dario and Rocio are fast becoming sought after and established in the capital of tango, Buenos Aires.
Dario is a professional tango dancer, part of the notorious “El Cxuce tango” team by Vanesa Villalba & Facundo Piñero. He also taught at Escuela de danzas de Grisel Dominguez and followed formal stage Tango training at Claudio Gonzalez. Rocio is also part of “El Cxuce tango”, has a tango and folklore license from the Universidad Nacional de las Artes and a professional training for tango dancers at the E.N.T.A (Espacio Nacional de Tango Argentino). They are, together semifinalists at the 2022 & 2024 tango world championships, finalists at la Plata championships, finalists at El Beso championships, and taught / performed at prestigious milongas including la Viruta, Confiteria Ideal, Pipi cucu, Discepolo, El fulgor, Villa Malcom, Porteño y bailarin, Zorzal, Maldita, Marabu, Muy martes, and many others.They have a hands-on, generous and involved approach of teaching tango with their students, giving and doing all all they can to ensure all learn quickly and establish solid basis, for a fluid, connected and inspired dancing at milongas.

We are thrilled to present Dario and Rocio, a talented young tango couple who have garnered significant acclaim in the world of tango. Currently training at the prestigious company “El Cxuce Tango” under the guidance of renowned dancers Vanesa Villalba and Facundo Piñero, they are dedicated to honing their craft and sharing their passion for tango with others.

Dario’s Highlights:

• Extensive training in tango performance, including recent studies with Claudio Gonzalez
• Featured dancer in the Casablanca Tango Show
• Active participant in various tango exhibitions, showcasing their talent at notable venues such as Marabu, Gricel, Confiteria La Ideal and Maldita Milonga etc
• Accomplished competitor, reaching the semi-finals in the World Tango Championships as recently as in 2024 and securing top placements in prestigious events in Buenos Aires and beyond.

Rocio’s Highlights:

• Holds a degree in Tango from U.N.A (2023) and has completed professional training for dancers and instructors at E.N.T.A.
• Recently performed in the Metropolitan Theater with “El Cxuce Tango” and regularly teaches classes at La Viruta and online
• A seasoned performer with experience in private events and multiple exhibitions across renowned tango venues
• Reached the semi-finals in the World Tango Championships in 2022 and 2024

Teaching:

Dario and Rocio will offer private and group classes in London until early February, in both Spanish and English. They are also available for taxi dancing, performances and tango events.
