Sunday 20/04 with Veronica & FREE MERENGUE class, TDJ Sylvanus: EASTER EDITION!
What a fun afternoon in perspective! TANGO MEETS MERENGUE – free lesson for all!
On the 20th we have invited back Fredy Montero, a vibrant a really friendly professional dancer and founder of LatinSoul dance school. From Colombia, he will help you take the first steps and explore the basics of Merengue (read more below) with an easy to follow routine. Suitable for all levels and 100% free, from 4.30 to 5pm!
The usual classes at 2pm (Beginners, at the same time as Improvers) and 3pm (Intermediates and up) will be given by the divine Veronica Vazquez (with Bruno_) whom gathered such positive feedback this month we asked her to come back!
The milonga will start at 5pm and will finish at 8pm, with a guest TDJ SYLVANUS!
Programme
- 2PM Beginners class (Level 1, 1 hour): TANGO: Ocho & Parada. You will discover this iconic step, a beautiful movement in which the leader and follower legs are interacting. For further classes check our Beginners page for our beginner curriculum & offers.
- 2PM Improvers class (Level 2, 1 hour): PARADA VARIATIONS. Add some fun variations to make it even more exciting!
- 3PM WORKSHOP with Veronica and Bruno (Level 3 & 4, 1.5 hour): FABULOUS PASADAS & PLANEOS for the dancefloor. Learn how to truly challenge and thrill your partner with these combinations that will make their heart jump (with delight!).
- 4.30PM – 5PM FREE MERENGUE INTRO CLASS with LatinSoul’s Fredy Montero.
- 5PM MILONGA Los Angelitos, in our beautiful hall. TDJ Sylvanus with a hint of Fredy’s best tunes for cortinas! Nibbles available; you can BYOB or cakes if you want to share (or not) :-).
