Sunday 08/06 with Victoria Olivella & FREE CHACHACHA class: special edition!
What a fun afternoon in perspective! TANGO MEETS CHACHACHA – free lesson for all!
On the 20th we have invited back Fredy Montero, a vibrant a really friendly professional dancer and founder of LatinSoul dance school. From Colombia, he will help you take the first steps and explore the basics of Chachacha (read more below) with an easy to follow routine. Suitable for all levels and 100% free, from 4.30 to 5pm!
We will also have with us Victoria Olivella, the 2022 Tango Salon Vice Champion to teach the tango lessons (with Bruno) who will be blow away the participants with her grace, precision and warm approach! The classes will be at 2pm (Beginners, at the same time as Improvers) and 3pm (Intermediates and up).
The milonga will start at 5pm and will finish at 8pm with a guest TDJ!
Programme
- 2PM Beginners class (Level 1, 1 hour): TANGO: the cross and salida. You will discover this iconic step, a beautiful movement in which the follower legs are crossed. For further classes check our Beginners page for our beginner curriculum & offers.
- 2PM Improvers class (Level 2, 1 hour): SALIDA CRUZADA. Add some fun variations around the salida to make it even more exciting!
- 3PM WORKSHOP with Victoria and Bruno (Level 3 & 4, 1.5 hour): FABULOUS CROSS VARIATIONS & CHANGES OF SPEED for the dancefloor. Learn how to truly challenge and thrill your partner with these combinations that will make their heart jump (with delight!).
- 4.30PM – 5PM FREE CHACHACHA INTRO CLASS with LatinSoul’s Fredy Montero.
- 5PM MILONGA Los Angelitos, in our beautiful hall. Nibbles available; you can BYOB or cakes if you want to share (or not) :-). Last tanda at 8pm.
