Ariel Alejandro Yanovsky is a recognized and accomplished Argentinian tango dancer and teacher. Ariel was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and at age 13, moved to Bogota, Colombia, with his family.

He used to be into heavy metal and didn’t like to dance at all, but while living abroad, he suddenly felt closer to his roots and slowly got involved with Tango. In 1997 he returned to Argentina and began his tango career.

Ariel studied with internationally renowned teachers such as:

Natalia Games, Gabriel Angió, Carlitos Perez, José «Lampazo» Vázquez, Nancy Louzan, Damián Essel, Horacio Godoy and a few others. He performs and teaches in dance studios, milongas and festivals around the world – Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Oceania, South America and the United States. He carries the Tango flag wherever he goes.

He has performed in special events and unique places, such as the DMZ zone, where he participated in a show for peace between South and North Korea. He and his current partner, Gisela Vidal, were the first Argentinian couple to teach in places like the Kingdom of Eswatini (Swaziland). He also participated in visual proposals on TV and cinema.

He danced for well known orchestras like «Tanghetto» and «Sexteto Milonguero» and took part in the video-clip of «The Gotan Project» and «Bajo Fondo». He also danced for the well- known Golden Age Tango singer Alberto Podesta.

He complemented his training with classes of contemporary dance, theater, salsa, bachata, forró, kizomba and samba de gafieira. He speaks Spanish, Italian, English and Portuguese fluently.
