Dimension: Speed - Theme: Using the cross in slow tangos

If you like traditional tango salon, slow tangos are a joy to dance to. They enable self expression and intimate dancing in a way that ryhthmic tangos don't. For this class, we focused on how we could use the cross to dance on slow tangos. Simply beautiful.

For the end of our term, we reviewed our favourite steps, the corrida and some variants of the Americana.

Dimension: Height - Theme: Vaiven

The vaiven, these smooth and romantic back and forth movements are often associated with changes of height. They really are a great addition to your tango repertoire and work great and slow music.

The americana, with its open embrace in espejo (or mirror position) is always a great starting point to try creative combinations. In this class, we combined the americana and changes of height.
