TUESDAY 13/02/2024: CLOSE EMBRACE SERIES!
🥳 The evening will start with the Beginner lesson at 7pm (level 1, 1 hour – details), followed by the intensive course (weekly, consecutive Tuesdays) on the theme of Dancing in Close Embrace – from Salon to Milonguero! AND GOOD NEWS, the feedback was so positive that we have extended the course until 5th of March!
A practica from 9.30pm will be for all to practice and enjoy their tango – free for all students, so we encourage you to stay. Beginners are also welcome, to improve your tango at light speed.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FOR THE WORKSHOP?
🤩 Close embrace is at the same time the gift and the challenge of tango. It requires constant fine tuning, perfect body mechanics, precision excellent communication in the embrace and most importantly, a great level of trust. So it’s no wonder why so many dancers shy away from it, or adopt a semi close embrace and in doing so, miss that very essence of tango: the connection.
We will grow and explore until March 5th the technique behind, how to move, and of course we will give you the tools to develop your own style. We will also explain the different types of dancing from ‘Salon’ to ‘Milonguero’. Much more than only focusing on embrace, the course aims at everyone who feels they want to get better at closing the embrace and keeping it closed.

» 7PM (60-min), Beginners lev. 1: Corte & Sanguchito basics. So much fun coming your way this week, beginners! Learn this iconic tango move.
» 8PM (90-min), Open Level (except beg.): CLOSE EMBRACE intensive course. The most useful course to start looking great at milongas! Learn the art behind close embrace, from in depth technique, the different styles of close embrace, the difference between Salon and Milonguero styles of dancing, how to add energy and style your abrazo, create space and comfort without disconnecting, and more. Covering technique, and applications with examples of sequences.
